Research On Evaluation And Enhancement Of Teaching Quality Of University Based On The Perspective Of ISO9000

The university takes the responsibility of training all kinds of talents who have innovative spirit and practical ability with social needs. Therefore, the eternal theme and relentless pursuit of every college are to improve its teaching quality. However, as many of our universities' expansion rate is far more than the affordability of their teaching resources in recent years, most of the universities'teaching quality has declined. Therefore, including the Ministry of Education, higher education stakeholders are actively exploring ways which are able to effectively enhance the quality of higher education teaching, such as that Ministry of Education formally established the undergraduate teaching periodic evaluation system in 2003, some colleges and universities passed the certification of ISO9000 family standards and so on. Although it has achieved great results, there are some dissatisfying points. For this reason, reforming on assessment of undergraduate education becomes more important. How to perform effective reforming to improve education quality is the important issue of concern. Based on this situation, this study analyses and researches the existing assessment system of teaching quality in-depth bases on the ISO9000 and the extensive experience in the implementation of ISO9000 in the field of education at home and abroad. Then, higher education teaching evaluation index system is proposed based on the perspective of ISO9000, and the improving paths of teaching quality are proposed on the basis of this evaluation system, to provide some ideas for the development of universities.
