Digital Video Remote Monitoring System of Computer is a comprehensive system. It refers to several technical fields such as hardware, software and network of computer etc. Following is the summary of the thesis.Chapter One analyzes the application status, developing foreground, software supporting and hardware supporting of Digital Video Remote Monitoring System of Computer. Main contents and general structure scheme of this dissertation are present.Chapter Two introduces some important Coding Standards of Video, especially analyzes the Video Format and Compression Method of MPEG-1.Chapter Three give a method of detecting the movement on video through analyzing the video frames. The direction and speed of the moving object on video can also be detected by means of the method.Chapter Four analyzes some network transferring technologies about TCP/IP . A resolving method through TCP% UDP^ IP Multicast and RTP , is present to transfer video.In Chapter Five a new remote monitoring system model based on LAN and WEB is brought forward. Function model and communication model are also designed.hi Chapter Six, a remote monitoring system was built with visual c+ under the theory introduced in former chapters.hi the seventh chapter, all of the work in this thesis is summed up. The future research of Digital Video Monitoring System is prospected.
