IP Phone is a popular communication method that realizes voice communication through Internet. Taking advantage of low cost, and with the development of Internet techniques, it has been getting more and more attention. Digital Cordless Telephone has been taking the place of the traditional Analog Cordless Telephone gradually for its flexible convenience, high security and anti-interference. This paper proposed an IP Cordless Telephone system which combines the functions of IP and Digital Cordless Telephone to support the communication solution scheme of SOHO(Small Office and Home Office) environment that employs the advantages of convenience and low price.In this article, we firstly give the integral structure and communication principle of IP Cordless Telephone system and introduce the block diagram of the host-telephone and subsets at the same time. By analyzing the H.323 Protocol and ARM7TDMI core chip-S3C4510B, we design a hardware and software implementation scheme based on H.323 and S3C4510B. This article is mainly worked on hardware and software scheme and elaborating how it works. In the case of hardware, we have given the research platform and the design of function models which include the SDRAM, FLASH, LCD, KEYBOARD and EHTERNET INTERFACE. In software design, we realize transplantation of the uCLinux on the research platform, building cross compile environment and writing and adding driver code to uCLinux.
