A Comparative Study Of Ulcer Oil And Kanghuier Dressing For Pressure Sore Nursing

OBJECTIVE:To use the hospital self-made ulcer oil in the stage Ⅱ, Ⅲ pressure ulcers care. And do comparison with the conventional effective Coloplast Dressing, observation and comparison of two methods for the Nursing measures of stage Ⅱ, Ⅲ pressure ulcers effect and analysis cost benefits. To found more cheap and effective nursing methods, both ensure efficacy and reduce the economic burden of the patients, improve patient satisfaction. At the same time also expanded the scope of clinical application of self-made ulcer oil in the hospital, to provide basis for further application of savings.METHODS:Select 137 hospitalized patients with pressure ulcers Ⅱ or Ⅲ. Divide those patients into two groups randomly by the random number table, the experimental group and the control group. In the control group the pressure ulcer cared by the Coloplast Dressings, and the experimental group by ulcer oil. observe two weeks (respectively observe and record indexes while the patient into the group, the third day, 7 days,10 days and 14 days). compared two groups of patients with wound area, depth, area of granulation, seepage quantity, types of organization and pressure sores healing assessment scale score, and though the wound care.RESULTS:The Comparison results of the pressure sores healing wound assessment scale score showed:at the treatment of 3 days(p=0.775),7 days(p=0.092), there were no significant difference (p>0.05), but 10 days (p=0.002), the 14 days (p=0.001), two groups were statistically significant (p<0.05); while in the wound area of pressure ulcers and granulation area, there were no significant difference of the two groups in each observation point(p>0.05). In the wound depth:there were statistically significant since 3 days. (p<0.05). In the wound exudation amount and wound tissue types:there were statistically significant since 7 days. (p<0.05). In the aspect of cost, the ulcer oil significantly lower than Coloplast Dressings (p< 0.05).CONCLUSION:Ulcer oil can effectively promote the healing of phase Ⅱ, Ⅲ pressure ulcers. And compared with Coloplast Dressings, ulcer oil can more quickly and effectively reduce pressure ulcer healing rating scale, reduce the depth of the wound, reduce wound drainage and improve wound tissue types, and cost is lower. The ulcers oil is significant for clinical application.
