| Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of Sangpi Zhike Decoction in the treatment of the children’s post infectious cough of lungs heat retention pattern.Material and method:According to the inclusion criteria and the exclusion criteria,all the children who treated in the Pediatric Clinic which belongs to Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were screened。A total of 100 children with post infectious cough were randomly divided into 2 groups,50 in the treatment group,50 in the control group.The control group was applied the leukotrienes receptor antagonist once a day and the treatment group was given Sangpi Zhike Decoction twice a day on the basis of treating the control group to treat the disease.The clinical efficacy were compared after the treatments between the 2 groups after 14 days treatment. Evaluation criterion:the results were evaluated by two aspects that from the treatment efficiency and the clinical symptom score.Results: 1.Comparison of the total effective rat:The total effective rate were 90% in the treatment group, significantly greater than 64% in the control group and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05). 2.The clinical total symptom score:the clinical total symptom scores of two groups before TCM treatment was not different,the difference did not had statistical significance(P>0.05). Through 14 days of treatment,two groups of children all had different degrees of improvement, the symptom scores were significantly decreased that compared with before treatment.The improvement of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group,which compared after treatment,and the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05). 3.The clinical score of each symptom:the symptom score of the cough in two groups before the treatment was not different(p>0.05),and it was different when the score was collectedafter the treatment(P<0.05).There was difference between the two groups which were treated,the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05).Even though the score had not difference between the two groups in the symptoms such as chest tightness,irritability and fever,it was still different in the symptoms such as expectoration,flame,dry limps,angina,feverish sensation over the palm and sole,anorexia, bowel movement dry, and the score was lower in the treatment group compared with the control group. 4.The results of follow-up:follow up two groups weekly,after following up 1 month without interruption,the recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than the control group obviously,and the adverse event in both groups was not appeared.Conclusion: 1.From the aspect of the total effective rat:Sangpi Zhike Decoction combined with the leukotrienes receptor antagonist has the significant curative effect in treating the children’s post infectious cough of lungs heat retention. 2.From the aspect of total symptom score:Sangpi Zhike Decoction combined with the leukotrienes receptor antagonist has the stronger improvement situation. 3.From the aspect of each symptom:both eukotriene receptor antagonis and Sangpi Zhike Decoction combined with the leukotrienes receptor antagonist have good curative effect in the symptoms such as chest tightness,irritability and fever,but Sangpi Zhike Decoction combined with the leukotrienes receptor antagonist is better in the symptoms such as chest tightness,irritability and fever,it was still different in the symptoms such as expectoration,flame,dry limps,angina,feverish sensation over the palm and sole,anorexia and bowel movement dry. |
