Purpose:In this study, Infrared Thermal Imaging technology is used, acquisite the body trunk infrared image of healthy population and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, analysis and sum up of temperature difference, to judge the situation of the disorder of the meridians, acupoints and viscera in the patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. It can provide some reference for clinical dialectical analysis and treatment.Material and method:We selected 33 cases, which were polycystic ovary syndrome patients in the Gynecology Clinic at Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital from June to August in 2015, as a group of polycystic. Recruit 30 cases health volunteer as a health group. Application of ATIR-M301 medical infrared thermal imaging system, collect two infrared thermography of front and back of the torso of two groups, to observe the ratio of abnormal area, compared to the infrared temperature anomaly area, analyzed the infrared temperature and the anomaly within the region and any two veins and part of meridian group itself. Using the paired T test make statistical analysis for infrared temperature of the left and right sides of the group, and using the independent sample T test make statistical analysis for the relative temperature of T group.Results:1. The trunk areas of Abnormal Infrared Thermography were compared between the two groups of subjects found: two groups of subjects of breast, ventrolateral and abnormal ratio of Governor vessel(GV) region had significant difference, P < 0.05. In the abdomen, lower abdomen and back is no statistical difference P > 0.05.2. The comparison between the two sides of the infrared temperature within the group was found: There was no significant difference in the infrared temperature of the breast, the outside of the abdomen and around the waist area of the healthy group, P > 0.05. The temperature of the left breast in the polycystic group was greater than the temperature of the right breast, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference between the two sides of the lumbar region and the lumbar region, P > 0.05.3. The comparison between the two sides of the infrared temperature within meridian regional of the group was found: health groups around the area of acupoints on both sides of the infrared temperature had no difference, P>0.05. There were differences in the infrared temperature between the left and right sides of LR13 and BL23 Points of the Polycystic group subjects, P<0.05.4. The comparison between the Governor vessel meridian(GV) and the Conception vessel meridian(CV) of the infrared temperature of two group was found: infrared temperature of the area of Du of the health groups is greater than the area of GV and CV, P<0.05. the infrared temperature of the GV and CV area of the Polycystic group subjects is no difference, P>0.05.5. Comparative relative temperature of two groups of acupuncture point was found: the relative temperature of ST17, CV17, BL23 and GV4 of the Polycystic group subjects is greater than the health group subjects, P<0.05, and ST17 and CV17 is most obvious, P<0.01. There was no significant difference among of LR13, GB26, BL23 and BL17 of the two groups, P>0.05.Conclusion:1. The performance of the infrared thermal imaging characteristics of RN17, ST24, LR 13,CV8, GV4, the GV meridian and CV meridian show that the location of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is related with the GV meridian and the CV meridian, and the LR meridian and ST meridian.2. The difference of infrared temperature of aucpoint and the GV meridian and CV meridian of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome can enrich the understanding of the disease pathogenesis of traditional Chinese Medicine, at the same time, it provides a new way of thinking for the external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine dialectical acupoints.
