Learning a foreign language is in fact tantamount to learning a culture. This means that when learning a foreign language without understanding the culture behind the language features, one ultimately unable to fully grasp the language at all.Broadly speaking, culture should be exist in each stage of the language learning, and even each unit. Because of the language teaching pragmatics for purpose, it will inevitably involve all levels of teaching language and culture. Moreover, it is noteworthy that cultural factors and the difficulty of the language form is not necessarily proportional, which is also to say, simple forms do not mean that the usage could ignore the language and its cultural factors. Therefore, teaching process from beginning to end ought to pay much attention to language, cultural factors, language form into the background of social pragmatics teaching, in order to improve the communicative competence of learners’language.Compared with earlier concerned language such as English, French, Japanese etc., Chinese Language Education belonging to the youth period in urgent need of all aspects of knowledge and nutrient. However, the cultural dimension into the field of Chinese language education, at this stage, has also become the emerging hot topics; associated with the studies related, theories in each contention stage, there still has no specific conclusion. Actually, interpretation of Chinese culture in the vast Chinese language teaching field, content, and cultural factors into the scope of language teaching materials is not easy. Using these classic Chinese textbooks at the most fabulous Chinese Learning Centre of all kinds of universities in Taiwan as an example, explore their way of adding culture into the Chinese Second Language materials, and with the "New Practical Chinese Reader" of mainland at this stage, so as to identify the similarities and differences in the Chinese cultural factors into language teaching materials of cross-strait, for cross-strait exchanges of Chinese as a second language teaching as well.
