Mongolian music is a very important part of Chinese music, andthe Kerqin narrative folk song is the most important part of Mongolianmusic. Therefore, by researching the Kerqin narrative folk song fuller anddeeper, we can not only know the style, history, custom, culture ofMongolian music, also find the differences between it and the music ofour Han nationality. Through analyzing the features of the narrative folksongs in this thesis, we can conclude the main features of the Kerqinnarrative folk song. It is very meaningful and important for this thesis toresearch the culture of the Kerqin Grasslands, the features of theMongolian grasslands culture and the reference from the modernMongolian music’s composition.
