Franz Schubert was one of the founders of the early Romantic music. During his life, he hascreated more than1,000works, of which there are more than600Lieds,18operas, singing operaand drama with music,21piano sonatas,10symphonies and other works, which left a rich musicaltreasures for the futurities. His writing style was influenced deeply by Beethoven, while inheritingthe classical tradition, he also opened up a precedent for the Romantic period music.Schubert created43chamber music works in his all life, including two piano trios withnumbers, of which "B-flat Piano Trio"(D898) was the creation of his final two years, such workwas not published until1836. The work is very melodic and have rigorous structure, showing both"classical" and "romantic" style, that makes this work very favorable by concert performers andaudience of all ages, listed as one of the tracks in major chamber music competitions and concertsof the world.In this paper,"B-flat Piano Trio"(D898) is being as the study object, to disclose the historicbackground of this work, point out its artistic features, reveal the characters of Schubert’s creationin his late period to integrate the form of Classicism with the emotion of Romanticism. So as toachieve true understanding of musical ideas expressed in the work itself. And thus provide somesupport for the necessary theoretical work on the performance of the work.
