The honorific titles and modest titles have existed sinceancient times.They have been highly respected and widely used in the Chinese nationwho pay attention to ceremony and played an important role in communication.Although the Chinese scholars study the honorific titles and modest titles for a longtime making a great progress in the quantity and quality, there is no systematic andcomprehensive results.
