Johannes Brahms (Johannes Brahms,1833-1897) was born in Hamburg, Germany.isthe well-known German composer, conductor, pianist, created many influential musicworks, critics will Bach Beethoven and he referred to as the German "3B" of thehistory of music. Brahms music style in the early days has been established, so it isof great significance to study the early piano works. Ballade op.10is one of his earlyworks, capable of embodying the of the Brahms original music creation concept andwriting techniques.In this paper, from the music ontology analysis of the works, a total of four chapters,the introduction part elaborated the selected topic, the thesis topic source, researchhistory and present situation. The first chapter introduces the biography of Brahms,the piano solo introduction, origin and development of the piano ballade, works forsubsequent analysis. Second chapter as Brahms ballade op.10music ontologyresearch, concrete analysis of the works of four music melody and harmony, anddiscusses the connection between the four piece of music. The third chapter mainlyelaborates the work matters needing attention in play, including rhythm, dynamics,touch and other method, to better grasp the Brahms piano style, and better play tothe op.10play value.. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the ballade op10research significance, main is divided into two parts, the first part studies the Brahmsin this early work how to draw the essence of romanticism music, the second partstudies late Brahms piano solo works are works of inheritance, the two parts togetherdemonstrate the style of Brahms piano solo works actual from early has beenestablished.
