On The Ecological Trend Of Technological Ethics

Nowadays science and technology have made great progress. Technology is a tool for human knowledge, utilizing and transforming nature, greatly promote the progress of the productive forces, enrich people’s material and spiritual life. While technology is a double-edged sword. Technology abuse which resulted in the imbalance of human, technical and ecological contributed to the global ecological crisis. The global ecological crisis mainly reflected in the pollution of the environment, population explosion, energy crisis and reduced biodiversity. Ecological problem has become a world-wide concern.The first chapter aims to show that the ecological turning of technology ethics is the general trend. This paper briefly analyzed the technology and its risk characteristics, technology ethics, and the characteristics of the ecological crisis. Points out that the long-standing concept of anthropocentrism in technical ethics is an accomplice of ecological crisis. In addition, people was obsessed with the one-sided pursuit of economic growth, and materialistic meet which despite the ecological sustainability. The second chapter is to illustrate the connotation of ecological turning of technology ethics. Corresponding technical ethics should be built to minimize the negative effect of technology, aiming to achieve a harmonious ecological coexistence of people, technology and ecology. People put forward the sustainable development strategy which contains profound ecological philosophy. Ecologicalization of technology fills the gaps in the previous technology which did’t pay attention to the ecological impact. Eco-technology ethics guide the human must respect the rights of the people development in the the future, maintain the natural right, fulfill the obligation, establish a new concept of responsibility and set up the principles of equality and fairness. The third chapter emphasizes that in the practice of eco-technology ethics, we should bear in mind the interdependence of man and nature. The awareness of the technology ethics should be improved by human, especially technical experts. We should develop the green technology and promote green consumption. Treating science and technology reasonably to achieve the harmonious co-existence of human, technology and ecology.
