Preschool period is the key period of growth and development of children. Behavior problems, addressing the attention of all, will cause a series of problems related to healthy development of children if not solved. It would affect the formation of healthy personality of children. It may not only affect the growth and development and socialization, but also lead to their adult maladjustment, crime and mental disorders. Having important effects on not only children’s development of physical and mental health and personality, but also on social adaptation, Children’s behavior problems has become an important problem of social and family attention. Research shows that early comprehensive intervention can help reduce the occurrence of behavior problems of pre-school children, of which the intervention address the focus of preschool psychology and education field.This article uses300questionnaires on teacher scale to study the behavior problems among the Chinese and American pre-school children. Secondly, according to the test score, we selected3children of serious behavior problems in each dimension of behavior problems. Then formulated specific intervention programs upon the daily performance evaluation of teachers; finally applied Dance/Movement Therapy to the intervention of three individual cases with behavior problems. The results were as follows:The results in Study One:(1)There was a significant nationality difference in all factors of behavior problems.(2)There was significant difference among races in all factors of behavior problems.(3)There was a significant family-style difference in all the factors of behavior problem.(4)There was a significant regular taken carer difference in the factor of attention disorder.(5)There was no significant regular taken carer difference in the factor of conduct problems; hyperactivity problem and hyperactivity rates.The results in Study Two:(1) This Dance/Movement Therapy has a positive effect on the intervention of hyperactivity problem and attention disorder. In contrast, there is no significant effect on the intervention of conduct problem.(2)Three months later, the investigation on three individual cases still has a good prognosis for effect; the follow-up post test result is lower than the post-test’s.
