There are many Female Words, which is a significant feature inJapanese language. Speaking of female Words, if taken literally, is thelanguage used by women.About female words, China and Japan have done someprior studies mostly from a macro perspective but rearly using specificliterary arts as study subjects.It’s a nice research approche startingfrom conversations among women written by female writers since femalewords are women used language.This paper will use Japanese female writerBanana Yosimoto novel for the subject, to study the characteristics offemale words.However, Banana Yosimoto due to is a prolific writer. thispaper use six of them---Kitchen Foam TUGUMI Dew Hulin to Nan Bei Awa/Temple.The author studied characteristics and changes of female words ondatas that are statisticed and categorized. The author also combinedjapanese sociaity and women psychological factors in Japan to find thereson cause changes japanese female words.This paper consists of four parts.The first chapter introduces the prior studies and the researchobject, purpose.The second chapter describes the definition of female terms, changesand features. The third chapter is the key of the paper----the study onthe features of Banana Yosimoto’s novels. This chapter is divided intothree sections.(A) authentic female words. From honorifics, personalpronouns, the final particle were studied using three aspects. Use ofhonorifics from statistical data, the frequency of women is much higherthan men; older women use honorifics more offen than younger women.Personal pronouns and final particle aspect,“a ta si”“no yo”“wa” “ka si ra”and other words as a women-only language to be used.(B) themasculine language. From the personal pronoun, the wording of the finalparticle and rude analyzed three aspects. In the personal pronouns andfinal particle usage, like “o ma e”“da”“zo” and would have beenconsidered a male language in the novel are often women. In terms of theuse rude language, like "idiot""deserve" and other words are often usedby women. In addition, in the novel, women also repeatedly use the commandform.(C) the language habits of women. In the process of reading the novel,author found: Compared with men, women use more repeated phrases andechoed languages. In this paper, this is called the language habits ofwomen.The fourth chapter is the conclusion and future research projects part.Changes to the novel features and terminology women were summarized andanalyzed. First, with the development of Japanese society, the socialstatus of women has been greatly improved, women’s minds are changed. Theydesire to have equal social status with men, like can talk like men. Somany masculine language occurred. In this case, the performance of theyoung women are more obvious. Further more, individual character traitsand affinity relationships with talking objects are also the reasons. InNovel "TUGUMI", heroine’s character is like boys, her talk is also moremasculine, even for the first meeting to talk to strangers is very casual.In addition, women use rude language to the closer relationship in thenovel. In this paper, research on women still need to be improved. Thecombination of changes of women words and cultural will be the subjectof future research.
