A Study On Semantic Semantics Of Russian Derived Verbs

Verbs are extremely important in a language like Russian, and most new linguisticstudies, therefore, are closely related with verbs. Prefixation and suffixation are veryproductive in verb formation. Meanwhile, prefixes and suffixes can never be ignored fortheir influences on semantic meaning of verbs. Thus, the study of verb prefixes andsuffixes in Russian is rather creative and realistic.Word-building semantics provides a new perspective for the study of the formation.In the three parts of the dissertation, we reviewed the derivation of the word researchhistory, present situation, introduced the basic concept of word building semantics, theconnotation of the word semantics of some terms are explained and clarified.Considering the different semantic features of verb prefixes and suffixes in Russian, weattempt to classify every type of verb prefixes and suffixes according to the samesemantic features, and study them macroscopically. Rearcher into word buildingsemantics will play a role to help on English word recognition and language teaching,the results will also promote the development of the discipline and other disciplines.
