The Zaozhuang Dialect Derivative Word Study

Zaozhuang City is located in the south of Shandong Province.According to "Atlas of Chinese language",Zaozhuang dialect belongs to the part of zhengcao dialect in Zhongyuan Mandarin.This thesis will discuss the derivatives of Zaozhuang dialect,and the main part of it is a detailed analysis and description of the afffix.Affix,including prefix,infix and suffix,is a very important grammatical unit in modern Chinese.There are a variety of affixes in Zaozhuang dialect,especially suffixes.The suffixes are frequently used in word formation.They can be used to form a large number of nouns,as well as verbs and adjectives.In addition,these suffixes,with their unique local characteristics,are vivid in describing things and conveying emotions in Zaozhuang dialect.This thesis mainly adopts the methods of synchronic description and diachronic comparative. Through careful and meticulous investigation,gain first-hand material.It is necessary to fully demonstrate the affix system of Zaozhuang dialect,but also to focus on a detailed description and analysis of characteristics of affixes.In addition,based on a number of novels which show the characteristics of shandong dialects,via a diachronic comparative method,this dissertation undertakes to show the development process of affix system in Zaozhuang dialect.This treatise is devided into six chapters.The first chapter is introductions.Introducing the geographical locations and the historical course.Furthermore introducing the distinct characteristics in the voice,vocabulary and grammar. Then presenting the history and current situation of the study of Zaozhuang dialect and affix.Fially, show the significance of the topics and research methods.The second chapter describes the Formation and affix.Summarize the nature,characteristics and classification of affix in modern Chinese and the overall situation of affix in Zaozhuang dialect.The third chapter describers the prefix in Zaozhuang dialect.This part focuses on noun prefixes such as "Da(大) ","Er(二)","Lao(老)","Yang(洋)","Ge(圪)"and some adjective prefixes.The fourth chapter describers the infix in Zaozhuang dialect.The number of infixes in Zaozhuang dialect is not very large.This part describes two infixes.They are "Bu/Buzi(不/不子)"and "Lou(娄)".The fifth chapter describers the suffix in Zaozhuang dialect.The suffix is very rich in Zaozhuang dialect.Not only more quantity,but also highly productive.This part focuses on noun suffixes such as "Zi(子)","Lai(来)","Kou(口)","Tou(头)".Others are verbal suffixes such as "Ba(巴)","Lou(娄)","You(悠)","Leng(棱)","Deng(登)"and adjective suffixes such as "X de(X的)","Dehong(的哄)" The last part of the thesis describers the function of the affix in Zaozhuang dialect.
