With the frequency of foreign exchanges, Chinese academic assertations also play an important role in this process. Nevertheless, academic translation has been marginalized for a long time due to the lack of relevant theoretical research. Therefore, continued efforts should be made to deepen the study of academic translation strategies and methods. Eugene NidaBased on the translation of an academic essay entitled the Aspect of Adjectives in Modern Chinese and Its Morphologization written by Prof. Zhang Guoxian, this paper aims to explore the characteristic of the translation of academic paper in accordance with the Chinese-English contrast in translation process. The similarities and differences of dynamic adjective and the usage of aspect in English and Chinese are also shown in this process. This paper will follow the rules of academic paper, i.e. technicality, novelty and the preference of making the most of the advantage of target language. The difficulties such as the antithesis of aspects in Chinese and English has been paid attention to and which can be solved by using multiple strategies such as literal and free translation, addition, modification, etc. In this paper the methods and problems of academic translation with common features will be summarized ground on previous study.
