Intertextuality theory is an important literary theory of the20th century West which was originated from the linguistic theories of Ferdinand de Saussure, and then the word"intertextuality"was first creatively put forward by Kristina, as many other literary theorists’development and improvement, the intersexuality is becoming an important concept in literary criticism. It has not yet achieved a fully unified definition; in general, intersexuality is shaping of texts’meanings by other texts. It can include an author’s transformation of a prior text or to a readers’reference of one text in reading another. It focuses on the impact study of prior texts, in order to gain a system understanding of literature and cultural traditions. Intersexuality reduces the authors’authority and the initiative to speak and improves the participation of readers. Readers can use their background knowledge and other experience to establish an intersexual network to conduct their own creative interpretation.It has been lasted thousands of years since Datong ideas are clearly stated from "The Book of Rites. Li Yen ".The history of thoughts of Datong ideas can be said is to interpret the history of"Li Yen ".The documents about Datong ideas involves classic historical individual categories, and the resources are very rich. Literature is an important part of Datong ideas. Literary imagination and subtle features host the various generations towards the understanding and development of Datong ideas. A large number of literary works are born. Although these works are using different genres and artistic techniques, it shows a fascinating description of Datong society.The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter discusses the concepts, origin and development of Datong ideas and intertextuality; the definition and characteristics of Datong society. The second chapter discusses the performance of Datong ideas in ancient literature and intersexual reading of these works. It will be discussed in two parts:Datong ideas in prose’s and novels. The third chapter is the main part of this thesis. Datong ideas will be introduced to the theory of intertextuality.As a result, Datong ideas become a cultural meaning of literary motif. This chapter is divided into three sections:the section I discuss the Datong ideas’ intersexuality features; the section II discusses Datong ideas’cultural meanings, psychological causes and its links with the thinking methods in nation’s way; the section III discusses the Datong ideas under the effects of intersexuality. By the introduction of intersexual theory into the study of ancient literature, we recognize the changes of Datong ideas, at the same time; we could find the essence of Datong ideas’charming and restore its true face.
