Vocabulary teaching plays a basic role in the various elements of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, because language is a vocabularycombination. Vocabulary learning is a complex process, because of the large quantity, and is a relatively open system. Through the teaching practice we can know, pronunciation and grammar can teach in a systematic way for its own limited quantity,but Chinese vocabulary is an open system with constant change, so it is difficult to overall teaching.There are some problems in vocabulary teaching at present, one of the most obvious is the vocabulary teaching is not a system, so the Chinese vocabulary system cannot be formed in students’cognitive structure. Disadvantages of this way of teaching is unable to appear in the intermediate stage of learning, but across the intermediate to advanced stage, studentswill be felt in the study of the "bottleneck", because vocabulary increases suddenly, grammar and other aspects cannot catch its steps.Aiming at the problem of vocabulary teaching, the author studied the present foreign language teaching in the field of common teaching method, according to thetheory of Chinese vocabulary system and linguistics foundation as well as the students’cognitive structure, and thought how to expand and consolidate the learner’s vocabulary,we design a vocabulary teaching mode in the collection. We set the words in the textbooks for radiation point,with the New Chinese Vocabulary Outline for radiation range, constructing the vocabulary collection from three aspects:syntax, semantics and pragmatics. Sets are intended to make the fragmented words to form a whole, easy to remember, is conducive to the formation of the lexical system. Collection of syntax mainly contains same structure collection; collection of semantics mainly contain synonymous collection, antonym collection, synonyms collection, hyponymy collection, whole-part collection, sequence collection, same morpheme collection; collection of pragmatics mainly contains Common collocations and appellation collection.In the teaching process, the author obey the pre-designed teaching way strictly, and run the teaching idea through the interpretation of words and phrases, the explanation of content and exercises. In order to test the validity of this teaching method, the author designed the teaching experiment, after a semester of teaching, we test the students who study vocabulary under traditional teaching mode and collection mode at the same time, then draw the scientific results after analysis the test situation, the result is that:the idea of Chinese vocabulary collection teaching mode is scientific and effective, applicable in the intermediate level learners of Chinese.Based on a careful study of a lot of books, periodicals, we analysis the history and the present situation of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, according to the idea of predecessors "Chinese Vocabulary Concentrate Teaching""Network Vocabulary Teaching Method""Vocabulary Collection Teaching" concept, the author designed Chinese vocabulary collection teaching mode, and through the experimental method and the experimental results,we can make sure that, this teaching mode is feasible and effective. The author thinks that vocabulary teaching should not only be set through the Chinese courses teaching, also should be reflected in the branches, forming a complete teaching system.
