A Study On Phonetics In Fengcheng Dialect

“The phonetic study of Fengcheng dialect”records the dialects in Fengchengsystematically,and the speech condition of the surrounding areas as well,concers three anglessuch as the synchronic description,the diachronic comparison and the language contact, tocomprehensively study the dialect phonetic problems,this paper is divided into six parts, thespecific contents are summarized as follows:The first part is the introduction: First of all, introduces the overview of the geography,the history and the humanities in Fengcheng region briefly, then focuses on the researchresults about Feng cheng dialect phonology since the founding of New China,and after athorough sorting,induction and research, this paper learns and absorbs the worthies’ rationalresearch methods and conclusions, so as to explore Fengcheng dialect phonologysystematically.The second part is the phonetic system of the Fengcheng dialect:This chapter is from theperspective of discussing the common features, it describes the phonology system ofFengcheng Dialect and its characteristic from the aspect such as initials,finals and tonesdetailedly and systematically.The third part is the diachronic study of the Fengcheng dialect:this chapter mainly usesthe method of the diachronic comparison,contrasts the Fengcheng dialect phonology with"GuangYun","ZhongYuanYinYun","WuFangYuanYin","HuangZhongTongYun","YinYunFengYuan"and so on, in order to disclose the progress and evolution of the Fengcheng dialectphonology, and analysises of several hot issues about Fengcheng dialect historical evolution.The fourth part is the synchronic study of Fengcheng dialect: This chapter uses themethods of the synchronic comparison, firstly compareas Fengcheng dialect with Mandarinpronunciation comprehensively and describes the differences of the both of them in detail,itmakes a pronunciation guide for learning Mandarin in this dialect area,secondly makes acomparative study between the Fengcheng dialect phonetic and the surrounding areas dialectsphonetic, and strives to find some impact made by languages contact on the evolution ofFengcheng dialect from comparison.The fifth part is the monographic study of the phonology: This chapter is from theperspective of the language contact,discusses the relationship between Manchu andChinese,and the phonomenon of literary and colloquial readings in Fengcheng dialact. The sixth part is the conclusion:This chapter mainly summarises the phoneticphenomenon of the Fengcheng dialact systematically,points out the inadequacies in thestudy,and makes a research prospect for the future.
