Research On The Characteristics Of "Lo - Fi Animation"

“Lo-fi animation” refers to those who deliberately create original sense, technology orientedanimation intended to pursue perfect sense and lifelike effect of animation. In the digital age, the animatorand the audience grew tired of the animation which is rigidity and without humanity that produced by thecomputers,“lo-fi animation”, which began to develop. The author selected low fidelity animation as studyobject, and defines the concept of comprehensive information on “lo-fi animation”, explore the causeanalysis related to time factor, in combination with the representative works of its development aresummarized, analysis of “lo-fi animation” feature type, communication, development and mainly the lackof the in the content, and carries on the case analysis, the typical works, at the end of the“Lo-fi animation”of the prospect. This paper combines the creation way, countries, culture and other related theories of“Lo-fi animation” to make a comprehensive analysis and research, and make the reliable positioning ofits position in the modern animation development, hope that through this study, to explore the differentprocess of animation, animation research so as to future study and production help.
