"A Dream of Red Mansions" is known as a story about the life of a big family from thrivingness to decline two hundred years ago during the reigns of Emperor Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong. Mr. Cao Xueqin spent ten years to finish the novel."A Dream of Red Mansions" had reached a peak in the Chinese classical literature history. It is also famous worldwide. It made a huge contribution to Chinese literature. It is about the criticism of the feudality in the old times of China. The writer expressed strong disapproval of the society and the hard life of poor people. The novel fully reflects the content of the feudal society culture, education, rules and regulations, thoughts and feelings, customs and culture, social life, etc. A Dream of Red Mansions is the feudal nuanced depiction of social life, reflecting the profound critique of the decadent feudal society and feudal society.
