A Study On Nan Yuan Wu 's

"Five masters at Nanyuan" is a literature community living from the late Yuan Dynasty to the early Ming Dynasty. They advocated learning from the works of Han, Wei and prosperous Tang dynasties. They made a great contribution to converting the poetic style in the late Yuan Dynasty. It’s a pity that the academic circles don’t have a clear recognition on the life stories of "Five masters at Nanyuan". The purpose of my thesis is to put forward my opinion on their life stories and, by carefully reading all of his works, give their works an objective calculation in the history of literature.There are five chapters in my thesis. The first chapter focuses on the life stories of "Five masters at Nanyuan". The second chapter deals with the time when the community formed as well as other members in the community. The third chapter discusses the most important genres in Sun Fen’s poems:"Qijue"(Seven-character quatrain) and "Qigu"(Seven-character classic poetry). The forth chapter is an analysis of the problem in all his poems. The fifth chapter deals with poems of the other four masters.
