Hexi’s warehousing System of the Qing Dynasty has tended to be complete, besides the GuanCang、ChangpingCang and YiCang, Hexi area there are quite a lot of SheCang and they reflect many new features. Therefore, it can be said that the Qing Dynasty is the perfect period of storage system in He xi. According to the nature of various warehouses, I divided them into GuanCang including ChangpingCang and MinCang. In addition, I made some detailed analyses on their development conditions, spatial distribution characteristics and social security functions. In this paper, the concrete structure is as follows:The introduction discussed the reason and significance of this topic, the academic history review, the research scope and definition of related concepts, as well as the natural background and social background of the Hexi Corridor in Qing Dynasty.First chapter, first of all, the author discusses the development of Hexi’s GuanCang in the Qing Dynasty, We can know that Hexi’s GuanCang experienced by the restoration and reconstruction, and to the rapid development and prosperity, and the corruption deficit and devastation of war in the late stages, and finally it appeared brief revival phrase. Secondly, the author analysis the distribution of GuanCang space from its number and size respectively and conclud the spatial distribution characteristics: firstly, the widely distributed; Secondly, the unbalanced distribution. Then, the author analysis the reasons of its formation from the political, economic, geographical location, population, etc.The second chapter of this paper mainly discusses the Hexi’s MinCang in Qing Dynasty, including SheCang and YiCang’s emergence, development and decline of the process and the development of a brief revival, and the author summed up the spatial distribution features of SheCang on this basis:1. From the number of SheCang, SheCang set is common;2. The location is Comprehensive;3.It’s distribution in the river valley plains and traffic areas. To a certain extent YiCang instead of SheCang become the main force in the late Qing Dynasty. It make the regional distribution of YiCang more equalization and role play is greater. The third chapter, discusses the sources of foodstuff an, storage functions and social security of warehouse. The foodstuff of Hexi’s GuanCang in the Qing Dynasty mainly relys on three ways:donating, shopping and collecting. In the Qing Dynasty Hexi’s SheCang, for it uses Haoxian silver building, starts quickly, and mainly relys on people to donate. YiCang, also mainly relys on telling people to donate. But the function of hexi’s warehouse in the Qing Dynasty has a distinctive characteristics of time and geography. The GuanCang not only stabilize commodity prices in normal times and rescue the victims at the time of the disaster, but also provide a large number of military supplies for the local garrison. MinCang’s power in peacetime loans to farmers, to support agricultural production; It can rescue the victims at the time of the disaster which are useful to help restore production and maintain local social ruling order. In addition, MinCang can also offer in a war, usually provide funding for the school. In the fourth chapter, the author takes that NaYanCheng relieve drought in Gansu province in Fifteenth years of JiaQing as an example, analyzing the warehouse’s rescue ability, concluding which capability is very strong in its prosperous period, at other times should mainly rely on the country as a whole and the surrounding dispensing, relieve ability is weak. Warehouse’s rescue ability is insufficient, stimulate the hexi’s gentry to actively participate in rescue activities. It’s serviceable for victims to survive in a short time. The causes of such a situation are the following:First, it is located in the northwest, and agriculture environment is poor; Second, the army consumption is too large; Third, the disasters happen too much, which leds to storage can not afford; Fourth, the decline of warehousing system in late Qing Dynasty.
