Family is the center of the personal life, is the implementation of early education"nursery",family laid the foundation of preliminary training. And in the family,parentsof children know best, easily according to their aptitude.Since the Coleman Report in1960s, researchers at home and abroad have begun to widely concern the families’influences on college students’academic record. Not only is individuals’academicrecord relevant to the quantity of teaching and industry, but it closely relates to familycapital. Based on review and summary of relevant research of family capital, thispaper presents family economic capital, social capital and cultural capital as criteriato explore the families’influences on college students’ academic record. The studentslearning Chinese is influenced by family in Thailand, so this article from theperspective of family capital to explore the relationship between the family capitaland the students’Chinese academic record in Thailand.This thesis choose Chiang Mai University Chinese department students in gradesone to three as the research object, the introduction part mainly elaborates the purposeof the study and research background, research results at home and abroad werereviewed. Then the system capital and domestic capital theory are introduced.Chapter2family capital and explore the academic performance, this paper analyzedthe characteristics of the object of study, analysis of Chinese literature from ChiangMai University students’ Chinese achievement. Then from the family cultural capital,family economic capital and social capital and the relationship between Chinese studyand explore. Family economic capital from Chinese learning materials is a monthlyfamily income, home number and monthly costs for Chinese language training thesethree aspects are analyzed; Family cultural capital from the parents’ education,parents education way and an analysis of the students Chinese study habits; Familysocial capital from the parents of students learning Chinese with the help of the careerand family, parents brothers and sisters situation analysis. Finally based on the aboveresearch conclusion, and family education, to the Thai students to him,put forward thecorresponding suggestion.
