A Study On Mental Health And Job Burnout Of Staff In Child Welfare Institutions

In order to survey the mental health and the job burnout condition of theChildren Welfare Institute workers,investigate the relationship of mental healthand job burnout.Select506Children Welfare Institute workers of the citiesofYunNan province including Kunming and Yuxi and Honghe and then useSCL-90,MBI-GS to investigate,data processing and analysis by spss18.0.Theresults are that there is significant difference between somatization,interpersonalsensitivity depression,anxiety,hositility,terrorist,psychosis of SCL-90of ChildrenWelfare Insititute workers and the national norm,the mental health score is lower thanthe national norm overall;Most of Children Welfare Institute exist job burnout,Thenumber of light and severe job burnout is ninety-five point eight percent;Femaleworkers are higher than male workers on the factor of somatization, coercion,depression hostility,terrorist,psychosis;There is significant positive correlation amongsomatization and age,post,length of service;Th degree of somatization of collegedegree is the highest;It is the highest that the factor of interpersonal sensitivity andpsychosis of after ninety;Male workers are higher than female workers on emotionalexhaustion and cynical;The ordinary workers are higher than temporary employmentworkers on cynical;The degree of cynical of bachelor degree or above is thehighest;There is significant positive correlation among length of service andachievement;There is significant positive correlation among emotional exhaustion,cynical and factors of mental health;Emotional exhaustion and cynical can forecastthe mental health.Thus the mental health and the job burnout condition of ChildrenWelfare Institute is negative,There is correlation between the mental health and thejob burnout,We should pay more attention to it,use active and effective measures toimprove their mental health,reduce job burnout.
