Experimental Study On Mandarin Pronunciation In Liangzhou City

Liangzhou-accented mandarin is a kind of inter-language, which is developedduring the progress of learning standard mandarin by people of Liangzhou District,Wuwei City, Gansu province whose native language is Liangzhou dialect. This thesisfirstly has a simple comparison on vowel, consonant and intonation betweenLiangzhou dialect and mandarin in phonology. Then, analyses the differences inphonetics with acoustic and listening experiments between Liangzhou-accentedmandarin and standard mandarin, and describes the details of acoustic andpronouncing behaving of Liangzhou-accented mandarin. The basal visage ofLiangzhou-accented mandarin in vowel, consonant and intonation, and the existingproblems while the Liangzhou people speaking mandarin are showed up.The thesis adopts the computer program speech analyzer to make detailedanalysis. The acoustic and listening experiments are comparatively more exact thanusing listening single; it has a great of practicing meaning in manipulation andfeasibility. From the elementary research above, this thesis has a conclusion of thecommon characteristics and rules while the Liangzhou people speaking mandarin,which provide references for eliminating dialect accent when mandarin teaching.Research results to further the expansion mandarin have certain instruction meaning.
