MTCSOL, which full name is "Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages", has been established since2007. The number of universities with MTCSOL is increased rapidly from24to82till this year. In2009the full-time MTCSOL guiding syllabus, which was designed for Chinese students, proposed that50%core curricula should be taught via foreign language or bilingually. How to realize that target has become a serious problem for all the MTCSOL universities, teachers and postgraduates.This thesis applies the method of literature research. I have access to collecting many journals relevant to bilingual teaching at home and abroad in the database and also read many books about bilingual teaching. By drawing on previous research and other references, I study the feasibility of carrying on bilingual teaching in a certain MTCSOL course.This thesis introduces some terms about bilingual teaching, analyzes the necessity of bilingual teaching in MTCSOL curricula, puts forward the bilingual teaching practice in the core course Intercultural Communication combined with the professional training goal of MTCSOL, and puts forward the specific strategies from three aspects of teachers, teaching materials and students.
