In order to meet the challenges of the new century, bilingual teaching is theinevitable trend of the development of Chinese education reforms. At present, it'sattracting more and more attention from the educationists throughout the country asthe key and difficult issue of present educational reforms to make a research boththeoretically and practically. Meanwhile, our educationists are puzzled by manyproblems such as bilingual teaching materials, the teachers'quality training and so on.This article, which is just a theoretical research of the subject, gives a detailedanalysis of the problems facing the bilingual teaching in China. In the light of thecurrent practices and reforms, some reflections and suggestions are given to theseproblems.
