"Shuo Wen Jie Zi Du" is the Duan Yucai’s book, which lasted ten years, which is from forty-one years (1776) to fifty-one years of Qianlong (1786), relegated into. This book is said to the first draft, annotation researching "Shuo Wen Jie Zi" of Duan Yucai, which is injection period’s writing information and long data. It is completely reading notes, is a section’s long-term study according to the comments. Duan Yucai quoted in a lot of content about the "Wu Jing" commentaries in the process of writing the "Shuo Wen Jie Zi Du". This part of the material is more abundant, but relatively little studied, there are worth mining space.In this paper, under the theoretical guidance of philology, exegesis, vocabulary learning, combined with mathematical statistics, describing the classification analysis, empirical, comparative cross-proof, inductive methods, Duan Yucai’s "Shuo Wen Jie Zi Du" cited "Wu Jing" commentaries conducted a comprehensive carding, combing out the 1455 totals. Among them, there are "Zhou Yi" 90, "Shang Shu" 192, "Shi Jing" 533, "Li Ji" 315, "Zuo Zhuan" 325. On this basis, they are compared with Ruan Yuan’s "Shi San Jing Zhu Shu" in the "Wu Jing" commentaries to analyze their similarities and differences, including the same and differ in both cases. Differences include individual function caused by the different text, word dissimilarity caused by the different text, correcting the text, taking off the text, removing the text caused by the different text, word’s written expression caused by the different text, but their meaning is the same. Then explore the function of Duan Yucai citing "Wu Jing" commentaries in the book of "Shuo Wen Jie Zi Du", including clearing text similarities and differences, dredging word meaning, revising text corruption, textual name of the substance, laws and institutions.By study of "Shuo Wen Jie Zi Du" cited "Wu Jing" commentaries, can make up for the insufficient of Duan Yucai’s "Shuo Wen Jie Zi Du" in ancient literature research, providing proof of the corpus for the study of language and philology and Duan Yucai’s linguistics research ideas. It will be helpful for the study of language literature, textual criticism, compiling dictionaries, language teaching and Duan Yucai’s "Shuo Wen Xue" and other aspects’research.
