Shi Jing Shuo Yue is not only an important imperial examination work,but also an important study of Confucian work in the late Ming Dynasty.His book integrated the thoughts of Confucian classics with the imperial examination,making a contribution to save the harm of the late Ming stereotyped writing.Before this article,The study of Shi Jing Shuo Yue mainly focuses on its Confucian value and less on its imperial examination significance.The author tries to combine these two aspects in order to have a comprehensive discussion of this book.The first chapter is the general elaboration of Gu Menglin and the book of "Shi Jing Shuo Yue ".The author discusses one by one from the social background of the late Ming Dynasty,Gu Menglin,the reasons for the writing of "Shi Jing Shuo Yue " and the style of arrangement.Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 are the focus of this article.The second chapter mainly discusses the imperial examination significance of "Shi Jing Shuo Yue "."Shi Jing Shuo Yue " was made under the background that stereotyped writing of the late Ming Dynasty had accumulated a lot of abuses,and its compilation itself has the practical significance of reforming the stereotyped writing.The author explores the value of Shi Jing Shuo Yue as a book of righteousness and its significance to the scholars from the background of the imperial examinations in the late Ming Dynasty,the performance characteristics of the dodder pamphlets,and the treatment of the "Book of Songs" according to the rules of imperial examinations.The third chapter mainly explores the Confucian thoughts in "The Book of Songs".The author reflects the composition of Gu Menglin’s Confucianism thought from the discussion of Sinology,Song Xue and the current work "Lu Shi Shi Xue" by Gu Menglin.The most important thing is to explain Gu Menglin’s acceptance and correction of "Shi jing zhuan".The author discusses his acceptance and thinking of Zhu Zi’s thought from three aspects: respect for Zhu Zi,complement and perfection,correction and refutation.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the contribution and shortcomings of "Shi Jing Shuo Yue ".This chapter is mainly divided into two parts to discuss.Its contributions are mainly the restatement of Fu Bi &Xing,the emphasis on melody,the new meanings in the textual exegesis,the textual research of things,and the literary interpretation;the deficiency is mainly manifested in the excessive comment on Zhu Xi Returning to protect has affected the correct understanding of the Scriptures,quoted too many words from other commentators and Express fewer personal opinions.
