Fu Shan Is a calligrapher lived during late Ming and early Qing Dynasties,his calligraphy thoughts and calligraphy practice have distinct characteristics of the times. The first part of this paper is Fu Shan’s calligraphy thought research, through to review some misreading, restore the real thinking of Fu Shan, and then give an insight into the core of his calligraphy thoughts-- Nature. The second part is Fu Shan’s cursive research. At first, ravel out the periodically change of Fu Shan’s calligraphy;Secondly, proceed with the "inventing" copy works, through the comparison and analysis between copy works and original works in brush using, structure, layout and ink performance, show Fu Shan’s pursuit of personal art style; Thirdly, analyze the expressive style of Fu Shan’s creative work. The third part of this paper is the historical evaluation and influence, researched mainly from three aspects: the position of Fu Shan in calligraphy history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties; the revelation and evaluation of Fushan’s calligraphy; the contemporary significance of Fu Shan’s calligraphy thought.
