A Study On The Significicance Of NI Yuanlu’s Cursive Writing To My Calligraphy Creation

Ni Yuanlu is one of the new calligraphers who inherit Wang Xizhi ang Wang Xianzhi’s calligraphy style from the "strange" style in the late Ming dynasty. He studied through ancient and modern, leaving no common and known as the model of calligraphy and personality by later generations as. His handwriting characteristic and style is bright and wonderful, which makes the traditional calligraphy and epigraphic together. As a result, his calligraphy not only became famous in the late Ming dynasty, but also made a far-reaching influence on the current gallery.This article mainly starts with the NiYuanLu’s cursive to research. It analysis the causes of the formation of Ni’s cursive style in the round and makes the interpretation of the cursive style and cursive script’s technique characters. The article tries to summarize the impact for my creation which from the artistic characteristics of Ni’s cursive script and the use of Ni’s cursive script creation.This paper is divided into four main parts:The first part mainly analyzes the causes of the formation of Ni’s cursive script, it includes analyzing the influence of the special age background, as well as the vital role of Ni’s cultural cultivation for the development of cursive art.The second part makes a thoroughly arranging of Ni’s cursive calligraphy style features, then we can understand the cursive art features further.The third part focuses on interpreting Ni’s cursive script technique characters, including the technique of writing, the art of composition, the knot word, and the ink application technique.The fourth part is mainly about the analysis of my own cursive composition at once and the prospect in future.
