A Study Of Social Address Forms In Chongqing Dialect

As an important part of vocabulary system, dialect appellation system reflects the feature of the whole dialect area. As an important dialect in southwest mandarin, chongqing dialect is of great academic and realistic significance. Based on the sensitive, complex and changeful system of dialect social address term, in this thesis, the author takes chongqing urban dialect as the research object, with the help of the method of corpus, inductive and deductive method, the methods of typical example description method, so as to conduct a comprehensive and systematic investigation and analysis to the social address terms in chongqing urban dialect。From chapter two to chapter six, this thesis describes the general situation of the social address terms, the changes of generalization, the analysis of specific examples and source investigation, comprehensively reflects the chongqing urban social address terms. In this thesis, firstly, the author begins to present the definition and classification of the predicate, which describe the general situation of chongqing urban dialect and words briefly. In chapter three, the author makes a whole description to the social address terms in chongqing urban dialect, which exemplified the reasons and usages of the name and address terms, post address terms, quasi kinship address terms, gm said the predicate, zero address terms and etc. Further more, the author introduces the difference between predicate system in chongqing dialect and the predicate in common language and suffix in dialect predicate. They are numerous but important in social address terms of chongqing urban dialect, which lay a solid foundation on researching the social address terms in chongqing urban dialect. Meanwhile, the development of relative appellation generalization and the reasons of its predicate changed into the genesis have become an indispensible part in researching of social address terms in chongqing urban dialect.To some extent, the change of the social address terms reflects the whole picture of the system and the development tendency. Therefore, in chapter four, the author mainly discusses the changes of the social address terms in chongqing urban dialect. In light of the changes of Chinese social address terms, this thesis further discusses the changes of social address in dialect and common language situation and the changeable direction in dialect and common language. This thesis takes time as the thread mainly explores the developments of social address terms in Chinese society and system of the dialect from the seventies and eighties to nowadays. In addition, this thesis also discusses some situations of social address terms which are frequently and widely used in daily verbal communication. In chapter four, the author not only emphasizes the generalization and reasons of some partial social address terms, bur also analyzes the types of emerging address terms and the gender difference of social address terms.In chapter five and chapter six, in terms of the emergence of the typical social address terms in chongqing urban dialect, this thesis further analyzes its reasons, especially some typical examples. At the same time, through the survey of social address terms in chongqing urban dialect, it comes a conclusion that the changes of social address terms in chongqing urban dialect is made by many factors, such as immigration, geographical factor, customs, characters and etc. Finally, this thesis summarizes the characteristics of the social address terms in chongqing urban dialect.
