A Study Of Speech Act In Modern Chinese

As an important communicative activity, the apology is used to compensate for a speech act offence negligence and balance interpersonal relationship. From the perspective of pragmatics, this paper is combined with static and dynamic way of research on the speech act of apology. In accordance with the Chinese and overseas scholar’s cognitions of speech act of apology, this article aims at defining the speech act of apology and analyzing its composition, and holds that apology has features of compensation and politeness. The realization of the speech act of apology is jointly composed of the starting language of apology and the response language of apology, induce to the speech act of apology discourse pattern and discourse coping mode from the dynamic angle qualitatively, the main factors of communication and contextual factors produce differences in the speech act of apology discourse patterns and coping mode.This paper attempts to conduct a systematic research on characteristics of the speech act of apology perspective through the multi-disciplinary and multi-angle, so as to establish a complete and systematic theoretical system, and hope to provide the theoretical support for the other speech act of apology, and play an active role in guiding effect in the process of social practice.
