A Comparative Study Of Russian And Chinese Verbs As Verbs

Performative verbs have an important position in speech act, it is one of the important means to express speech act. Performative verbs of Russian and Chinese are our researching object, using speech act and valency view theoretical principles, methods, using Moscow Semantic School’s objects of description, compare the semantic syntactic features typical members of the Russian and Chinese performative verbs. Think over the difference of the grammatical features and the effect of the pragmatic factors. By a comparative study of the meanings of specific verb category-performative verbs, reveal the difference of Russian and Chinese performative verbs in grammatical, semantic, pragmatic structure. This dissertation as a research fruit to a comparative study of Russian and Chinese, not only advance the research of language teaching, but also help people adopt appropriate communication strategies and methods of language using in everyday life, complete speech act successfully and politely.
