Class differences in language have long been a hot topic of scholars in China and abroad and it is an important subject in social linguistics. The TV series is a means of mass entertainment; it originates in life and reflects all aspects of our life. Therefore this article gets language materials mainly on the actor’s lines of Legend of Concubine Zhen huan, and we make every effort to study their performances of class differences in language.To analyze the class differences in actor’s lines of Legend of Concubine Zhen huan, you first need to understand the class division.This article takes our country’s contemporary social class division concept for reference and combines with the clothing, manners, language expression of characters in the TV series, so the classes of characters in the TV series is divided into lower, middle and upper. The lower class mainly refers to the slaves, the middle class mainly refers to the emperor’s households, and the upper class mainly refers to emperors.In Legend of Concubine Zhen huan, the different classes in language communication have different language features, so this article from two aspects of external cause and internal cause to deeply investigate the differences of different classless language, and we find that external cause mainly show family background,the emperor’s favor, powerful attachment and courtesy, and internal cause mainly show intellect, heirs, personality and personal accomplishment, etc.Legend of Concubine Zhen huan not only in beautiful costumes, grand scene,colorful images, as a well as excellent acting attracts the audiences, and especially in the lines, these lines represent class status of different characters and display the personality characteristics of different classes. It reflects on the language ontology,and performances in pragmatics. If we analyze it, it will make us more understand of the language characteristics influenced by the feudal hierarchy, and it not only helps us to understand history, more important for us to better understand social linguistics theory of class differences in language, finally we can combine the theory with practice.A good costume drama is a good historical material.
