| Enter the twenty-first century, the tourism of our country has developed influentially. With the improvement of living standard, the people pay more and more attention to the pursuit of spiritual life, and in order to alleviate the pressure from life and word, many people use leisure time to go out to play. Tourism has brought economic benefits to scenic spots, tourism destinations and tourism-related departments, and has also brought a lot of negative influence such as noise pollution, water pollution, and ecological environment destruction and so on. Especially during the Golden Week, numerous famous scenic spots have been overloading seriously, it not only affect the majority of visitors’travel experience but also damage local residents’interests, thus hinder the long-term development of tourism destinations and scenic spots. On the contrary, affected by climate and people’s working time, many scenic spots have appeared’too cold and cheerless’ in off-season, and it leads to the decrease of economic benefits. Negative problems brought by tourism have been increasingly evident, in addition, the theory of sustainable development has been put forward and propagated, so managers of tourism-related departments have begun to pay attention to tourists’ interests and the grasp and control of tourism carrying capacity.Tourism carrying capacity is one of tools to promote tourism destinations’ sustainable development, it’s a systematic concept, and psychological carrying capacity is a branch of tourism carrying capacity which is only concept from users’ perspective and which is social, complicated, and dynamic. It considers’ an acceptable range’ of visitors to various factors, rather than a simple numerical value. If scenic spots intend to improve the quality of tourism experience, they should mind to the study on psychological carrying capacity of tourists.This study is based Jinan Darning Lake Scenic spot as the example, and I have collected the relevant data through field investigations, official website queries and managers of scenic spot access, and have take perception of crowing as evaluation index, and have established the model of tourists’ crowded specification, then reach tourists’ psychological carrying capacity of Darning Lake. This study has tried to survey repeatedly in shoulder season, busy season and off-season, and chose resting area and play area to gather data, rather than do a survey about tourists in busy season at a certain place. According to sample characteristics, I have used several statistical methods such as descriptive statistical analysis, independent samples T-test and one-way ANOVA to discuss factors that affect tourists’perception of crowding, and the relationships between these factors and tourists’perception of crowding.Through establishing tourists’crowded specification models and drawing crowded specification curves, we could obtain psychological carrying capacity of Darning Lake at different times in different places:(1) Tourists’psychological capacity in busy season is significantly larger than that in shoulder season and off-season. In busy season,1000-3000 people are most accepted by tourists at resting area and play area; in shoulder season and off-season, the number of 500-1000 people is the most acceptable. (2) In the same period, tourists at resting area are willing to accept more tourists than that at play area, but it makes little difference.Finally, I make a summary of the results, and make suggestions from visitor management and environment management, in the hope of providing references for the long-term development of Darning Lake and even the same type of scenic spots. |
