At present, many scholars and researchers has been widely recognized the important aesthetic value inherent in children, for children aesthetic studies have more and more attention to children’s aesthetic perspective and to study the design of the avatar few people whom the topic, relevant theoretical results are more scarce.On the basis of observation and collection of information on the questionnaire, the use of phenomenology, explain basic concepts of science and semiotics to study the characteristics of the modern aesthetic psychology of children using comparative analysis, to explore the aesthetic of our children’s cartoon image design Inspiration. The researchers first way to practice teaching about six-month experimental study in Nanjing Xianlin primary school, observe children in the painting exhibited aesthetic characteristics and development trends. And children also paid great attention to inner personality cartoon image of their favorite cartoon characters can be divided into two categories:the child’s age and the modern equivalent, similar behavior was seen as his "peers", likely for its creation "resonance"; and those with special skills, to complete the ordinary people can not complete the task, the role of children hearts idealized, they are considered "hero" or "model" for children. Designers can refer children to the intrinsic aesthetic appeal avatar to locate to different roles.Finally, the researchers through a comprehensive analysis of the first two studies found that children’s aesthetic preferences and aesthetic standards not only affect the development trend of cartoon image design, while the aesthetic value and aesthetic features avatars for children also plays an important aesthetic orientation effect.
