A Study Of Geographical Cognition In Lushan 's Poems

In modern society, cultural development needs more cultural coverage and deeper regional culture to highlight the characteristics of local culture for the accord development of regional people relationship. With the increasing of social material wealth and the vigorous development of tourism, tourists pay more attention to mental enjoyment and experience of local culture in the tourism activities. Seeking cultural enjoyment has become a kind of fashion for current tourists in which poetries and celebrity footprints has been popularity for the rich sense of history, mystical and local colour. Cultural geography emphasizes the relationship between culture and nature in the lengthways study. The excavation and analysis for local culture not only make for the cultural diffusion and give service to the development of which adjust measures to local conditions and the regional cultural tourism. Nearly thirty years, the role of literature reveals increasingly in geography study. Geographer begin to pay attention to literary form like calligraphy, poetry and so on. What’s more, the contents of the geography in the historical records and travel notes have important reference value.Geographical cognition is a process of communication between geographical factors and cognitive subjects. Literature is the typical source material of humanistic geography research, among which, with its unique historical insight, poetry keeps key records of object factors and subjects’experience of geographical cognition. By selecting the previous dynasties poetries in Lushan Mountain as research materials, then using the method of humanistic geography combined with quantitative statistical method, the paper extract combination law and historical evolution characteristics of geographical cognition objects, as well as the process and mechanism of geographical cognition subjects in the poetries of great span of historical period.The results of the research are listed as follows:(1) The geographical cognition objects of poetries mainly include five landscape types, namely mountains, hydrology, meteorology, biology, architecture, and in all landscape combinations, the two of mountains with hydrology and meteorology are the most in common.(2) Under the influence of such factors like distance, direction, light, colour and so on, the geographical cognition of poetries in Lushan Mountain presents combination of space and time characteristics such as the intergeneration of far and near, motion and stillness in unity, the change of light and shade, color rendering, harmony of cool and warm, the contrast of ancient and modern, human and nature in one and so on.(3) The geographical cognition characteristics of Lushan Mountain poetries in different historical periods are different, the styles and contents of which have experienced a evolution process include "hermit and nature" in the stage of Wei Jin South and North dynasties,"humanity and misty" in the stage of Sui and Tang dynasties,"religion and logos" in the stage of Song and Yuan dynasties,"antiquities and nonpolitical" in the stage of Ming and Qing dynasties and "various style of writing and imagist" in the Republican stage. The core of space of geographical cognition inside Lushan transfers to the west and south.(4) The process of geographical cognition of Lushan Mountain poetries can be summed up from motivation, stimulation, perception, thinking to expression, which mechanism goes though three steps:shape, emotion and prospect. At the same time, the progress of geographical cognition contains the evolution on space from expectation, physics, imagination to idealization.According to the law of geographical cognition objects and the mechanism and process of geographical cognition subjects in the poetries, we can explore new ways of thinking for the landscape aesthetic in order to meet the requirements of tourists to experience the local culture. In a similar way, in terms of development and management of tourism resources, we could excavate the depth and breadth of culture elements through the point of historical insight to show the local features, which has important practical significance for the development of cultural tourism and the evaluation of landscape aesthetic.
