With the rapid development of cultural industry, music education has been widelyadmired and valued throughout the world. Piano, serving as one of the most mainstreaminstruments nowadays, not only has multifarious performing techniques, but also hasnumerous works and literatures. Therefore, the piano education has become a valuableresearch topic as well. Usually, children can receive the piano enlighten education at their ageof4to6. On one hand, appropriate teaching methods and integrated teaching plans are quiteessential for good basis establishment during the whole process of piano learning. On theother hand, the selection of piano teaching material is an embodiment of the whole teachingthoughts and methods. The United States, as a powerful nation of piano education, has a freeand open idea on piano education, which is also proved successfully in practice. Currently, themost popular piano teaching material in America is Piano Adventures. Unlike the othertradition teaching books, the book give consideration of practicality and interestsimultaneously. It not only supplies the latest music teaching methods, but also can be appliedinto actual teaching, thereby achieving the purpose of happy learning. Taking PianoAdventures as the research object, this thesis analyses the frontier concept of the pianoeducation in the hope of giving some ideas for piano enlighten education in China.
