Adorno is a representative of Western Marxism, his "non-identity" is the spiritual pillar of his work and the main guiding ideology of his work. Identity is the fundamental principle of Western culture, the over pursuit of identity makes people lose the ability of self-reflection, and brings people into the reality of the disaster. Based on the reflection on human distress and facing disaster, Adorno proposed "non-identity" thought, and made a thorough liquidation to the traditional philosophical identity. This article studies and analyzes the different points of view held by ontology, epistemology and dialectics, which are based on Adorno’s “non –identity ” and “identity” for traditional philosophy, and points out the significance on Marx doctrine research and real life, so that more readers can have a t further understanding to his "non-identity" thought. Specifically, Adorno believed the interest of philosophy is special, individual, accidental, which represents the difference, contradiction, conflict, confrontation, negativeness, critic, and so on. Thus, he mainly criticized and denied the idea of identity of traditional philosophy in his works. Ontologically, he was opposed to the pursuit for primitive ontology of traditional philosophy, opposed to the fundamentalism; he opposed the dualism opposition of traditional philosophy, opposed to the metaphysics, and rejected the ontology; On epistemology, he opposed to identity and comprehension, opposed to the supremacy of concept and he thought that they tended to make epistemological identity, therefore, he required the disenchantment of concept and made a point of opposition to the system established on the basis of the concept of anti; In dialectics, he was opposed to traditional ’affirmation and negation, negation of negation "of dialectics, adhered to the absolute negation, advocated dialectics should be negative dialectics. His "non-identity" not only promoted the study of classical Marxism and Western Marxism, but also had a certain significance for our understanding of modern cultural and economic life.Compared with the traditional "identity" thought, Adorno’s "non-identity" thought gives us a new perspective to understand the philosophy and the world, provides us with an idea to break the traditional mode of thinking, and theoretical basis to breakthrough thinking identity, but also allows us to see the shortcomings of the "identity" thought.
