Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Chengdu World Sports Dance Competition

World Dance Sport Festival is world-class, the country’s top sports dance international events held in the second half of the year, according to the event scheduled for three to five days. From 2010 to 2014, Chengdu, the tournament has been held for five consecutive years. Chengdu World Dance Sport Festival is World Dance Sport Federation(WDSF) authorized only Dance Sport Festival tournament events held, the long-term in Chengdu. Competition from government-led, multi-sectoral co-host. After five years of accumulation, the size and content gradually fixed at home and abroad with high visibility and reputation, formed a relatively fixed crowd participation, and promote the development of local sports dancing career, showing a good social and market-oriented development prospects.In this study, the World Dance Sport Festival Chengdu development status and strategies for the study, the use of literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, SWOT analysis, expert interviews and other methods to analyze the status of development, domestic and foreign outstanding contrast Dance Sport competitions, identify their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, make appropriate development strategy. The following conclusions: internal development advantages: Chengdu humanities rich in natural resources; obvious advantages; mature operations team; huge market potential. Disadvantages include institutional settings unreasonable grounds and a lack of publicity, sponsorship and lack of personnel. Opportunities include government policy support and Chengdu international. The main threat to competition from other cities and other dance organizations.Analysis of the merits of Chengdu World Dance Sport Festivals in the competition, opportunities and threats, building SWOT matrix model. Weaknesses, and grasp the opportunity to resolve the threat, made the following development proposals:(1) create brand competition, increase market development efforts;(2) a reasonable marketing, and tap the potential consumer groups;(3) take full advantage of event resources, promote industrial integration;(4) Creative Talents, strengthen propaganda.
