Discussion On The Structure, Structure And Installation Technology Of Shanglong Kiln

As the specific kiln in the southern China, dragon kiln is one of the most important conditions of proto-porcelain producing. Through learning the shape, the structure and the craft in producing of the dragon kilns during the Shang and Zhou period, we will provide some basic information of the proto-porcelain study.The author divide dragon kilns of Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong during Shang and Zhou period into two kinds, each of which has A、B types. And according this divide dragon kilns into four stages. Dragon kilns during Shang and Zhou period reveal imbalance of the development in different areas. The characteristic of Zhejiang dragon kilns has the representativeness in the aspects of time extension, absolute quantity and so on. And every area has its own feature.It has the relationship of mutual influence about the internal structures.According the time development, building kilns on the earth straightly instead of dredging channel, and with the appearing of protecting kiln soil. Through the analyzing of the fire-barrier-bed, throw-firewood-hole, length, slope and preservation, the author thinks that chimney is not necessary in the dragon kilns during Shang and Zhou period.The control to temperatures of Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong ties in with the imbalance of the characteristics of different areas. Different shapes, glazing and kiln furniture have the different influences on laminated making, and the using of kiln furniture also can effect glazing. The author think about the applicabilityof four conditions in install and uninstall kilns, and raise the point of thinking the integrity of the equipment in kiln tail.
