An Investigation On The Phonetic Pattern Of Pinggu Dialect

In this paper, we use experimental phonetics to explore the tone and vowel patterns of the elderly, middle-aged and the young in Pinggu, which shows the basic features of voice tones and vowels of the regional dialects.The first chapter introduces the geographical situation of Pinggu, the research status of Pinggu dialect and experimental phonetics, the significance of the topic,the research methods and means.The second chapter analyzes the tone pattern of Pinggu District and the surrounding towns and villages. First, we introduce the tone pattern theory and the experimental procedure, then make the comparative analysis between different ages for each survey point of Pinggu, and do the comparative study between Beijing and Pinggu dialect in accordance with the atlases of the main distribution of tones. Finally, we come to the conclusion of the characteristics of Pinggu district tone pattern.The third chapter analyzes the pattern of vowel Pinggu District and the surrounding towns and villages. First, we introduce the pattern of vowel theory and the experimental procedure, then make the comparative analysis between different ages for each survey point of Pinggu, and did the comparative study between Beijing and Pinggu dialect in accordance with the atlases of the main distribution of towel. Finally, we come to the conclusion of the characteristics of Pinggu district towel pattern.The fourth chapter is the conclusion. After experiments and comparative analysis, we found that:In terms of tone pattern, there are some subtle features in the big trend of the Pinggu tone curve, the same tones of the different survey points with varying degrees of stability during pronunciation; in terms of vowel patterns in addition to the differences from the elderly, middle-aged and the young, there are some noteworthy and universal phenomenon in the vowel pronunciation of Pinggu district.
