The female, an old population, suffering the pain and don’t even know it. Li yu, a rebellious sensitive and thoughtful female director, have the courage to pursuit. The two mined is a video narrative that the creation of works are about women’s ache and awakening in the dark, bleak reality with a sensitive but hot heart sincerely. The paper discuss the women’s sad situations and the future choices that displayed by the female director.First, In the introduction part, I put the director’s growth experience combined with the image of her works and analyse the inner link of experience, works and subject matter. And according to the existing research results, I summarize the research status and determine the research direction, value and innovation.Second, in the first chapter, I put the female pain from film combine with the existing situation, and then concludes the four sources of pain. Respectively is: the pain that loss of dignity for money; male consciousness dominated led to the pain of aphasia; helpless suffering from mental occupation; the emotional pain caused by a lack of male.Third, in the second chapter, I combine the water image in the film and the female survival plight and find the link of the different forms of water are classified and the predicament of the psychology of women. This paper pays more attention to the details and get rid of the simple explanation about water image in previous researchers about Li Yu’s film.The last chapter is to explore the outlet for women. I abandon the simple and crude way of thinking and have the objective view of women’s situation in society and see the progress and rising status of women’s awakening for many years. However, flying heart and respecting emotion in their own personal world is the way that women obtain happiness and relief.
