| The problem of “form and spirit†has always been the significant topic of in the studies conducted by scholars. In this paper, the controversies on “form and spirit†of art in Huan Nan Tzu are taken as the research object for trying to introduce controversies on form and spirit from the philosophy perspective to the shifting mechanism and tracks in the art field, thus to carry out deeper explorations into the controversies on form and spirit in the art of Huai Nan Tzu.It mainly consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, it is mainly the technics transformation of the “form†and “spirit†in Huai Nan Tzu. In the second chapter, the basic contents of the controversies on form and spirit in the art of Huai Nan Tzu are illustrated, namely “superiority of spirit to formâ€, and “form and spirit conversionâ€. In the third chapter, the internal connections between the two controversies on form and spirit, in Huai Nan Tzu are expounded. |
