On The Modeling And Decoration Of Kites In Qing Dynasty

This paper firstly illustrates the purpose and meaning of kite study, and then it analyzes the origin of kite from the perspective of time, discusses the relationship between kite craft and folk-custom, after that it describes the manufacturing process of kite. This paper focuses on the analysis of decoration and modeling features of the kite of Qing Dynasty. In the second chapter, kite is categorized into several kinds. In the third chapter, this paper analyzes the decoration features of kite based on the four main categories of kite and summarizes the features of modeling and decoration styles. Finally, this paper integrates the artistic characteristics of kite into modern designing to conduct the book design.
