Chinese film industry had a great boom since 2013. At the same time, internet companies are trying to get into the increasing industry. Many internet companies launched their film department while more and more films are produced by internet companies.This thesis would focus on the changing of filmmaking models in Internet era. By analyzing the development history of crowd funding and reasons of its popularity in China, changes and influences about fund flow, content production and promotion would be given. The analysis of development of internet film companies would lead to its impact on film productive process, filmmakers, film content and other different aspects. According to these changes, the influence of the whole film industry chain would be shown. Changes of distribution, marketing and releasing parts of film industry in Internet era would be mentioned.
