Research On The Structure Evolution Of Piano

The development of piano had experienced over 100 years since it was invited in 1709. The evolution of piano action does great contributions to changes of expression which have happened to piano. At the same time, the expression of performing made effects on performing forms. As action is an important mechanism which links the keyboard with the soundboard, studying the evolutionary history of action is the best way to study the history of piano music. Author will put emphasis on social backgrounds of various pianists, composers and their performing styles as well as the three steps of piano action historical evolvement, the period of invention, development, and improvement, finding out how the piano action involution make changes on creating style and playing style.
